Normand's career has been about delivering successful projects from its very start. He joined his family’s highly respected and successful Montreal based multi-residential development business after graduating from McGill University’s
with a Civil Engineering degree in 1984. There he gained valuable hands-on experience from participating in different functions in a decade-long, nine-phase mixed-use project serving the luxury condominium business, which became the precursor to many successful projects in Canada, Europe, and The U.S..
In 1995 Normand transitioned to South Florida and began targeting high-end residential opportunities. Improving his
developer skill set, he was involved in all aspects of the development process from market research to evaluating site and project opportunities, cost evaluations, project financing and the sales and marketing.
A return to Montreal in 2002 led to a few exceptional projects in the high-rise multi-residential space in both rental apartments and high-end condominiums. Over the
years, Normand has been involved in the delivery of over one thousand luxury multi-residential apartment buildings and condominiums, many of them with a high degree of customization and time critical delivery. Today, Normand splits his time between Florida and Montreal, utilizing his extensive construction and real estate acumen and experience to identify, acquire, develop, design, construct, lease and sell multi-residential projects in areas well poised for growth. Risk management, at the core of his approach, has been well honed by the variety of projects and jurisdictions he has been involved in, together with the number of business cycles that have been navigated. As a partner in real estate development, his involvement ensures that each project will achieve its objectives, deal effectively with challenges in its way and deliver quality assets and returns.
